This compact extension is being designed as a cozy world of its own. Nooks and Notebooks
was envisioned for twin siblings who needed a space to rest, read, and grow side by
side.
The client's brief was clear: "We just want a practical, fun space for the kids, nothing
too flashy, just something that works for both of them."
The proposed layout brings together structure and softness. Custom arched bunk beds,
individual study corners, a shared lounge seat, and open shelves for books, trophies,
and little treasures give the room both personality and flexibility.
Color and texture were chosen to feel grounding but not overwhelming. Warm wood tones,
soft textiles, and playful accents create an environment that encourages both focus and
creativity. The space grows with the children, adapting to their changing needs while
maintaining its essential character.
Every element is designed with intention - from the height of the shelves to the
placement of the reading lights. This is a space that celebrates childhood while
preparing for the future, where imagination and learning can flourish together.
